Jen grew up in rural NY state and attended Miss Hall's School in Pittsfield, MA. She spent summers babysitting and nannying before college. Jen attended Clarkson University and received a BS in psychology and humanities. She then Attended Potsdam State and earned a Masters Degree in elementary education. During her college years Jen held various positions at YMCA Camp Hi-Rock.
Upon completion of college Jen moved south to begin her teaching career. Shortly after moving to NC, Jen met Russ and they have been together ever since. Jen taught 5th grade for 3 years before leaving to have her first child. She has been a stay at home mom for 6 years now and has four beatiful children.
Jen's husband and best friend owns Smallfri Announcements, a business that they started in 2002. The family of six resides in Surfside Beach, SC with their 2 dogs and Bob the bunny.
Reading, knitting, walking, spending time at the beach, Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author, my favorite movies are Steel Magnolias and Bull Durham.
